Going to be finishing up school in December so I'm trying to get that last awesome bit of work out before (hopefully) getting my time eaten by a job. This year's Unearthly Challenge seems like the perfect opportunity and with a topic of end game it seems all too appropriate.
I've gotten started over on poly count with my team mates, and now only a month left so we're going to buckle down and see what sorts of awesome we can produce. [link] << Our thread of awesome!
Tablet is back, managed to hang on to one of the ones from school for the time mine was away. I've got a massive project I'm working on with two friends. Its nearly done.. I'll post shots of it when it is. Its awesome and from war hammer fantasy and its pretty much dominating my mind atm.
A bit of sadness, going to be without a tablet for the better part of the month (repairs take an age and a half). So now I get to try and do things old skool, mouse only for a while. what fun...
so I finally got my hands on some new games just as finally rear their project based heads.
If my steam account is to be believed then I have logged nearly 40 hours into left4dead over the last 2 weeks which makes me regret all those useful days around thanksgiving wasted on games. The only thing I've gained from those hours is a good sense of the level design in l4d. Which on my current track of attempting to be a character artist is rather useless.
I guess if i can knuckle down for the next couple of weeks I should have a nice relaxing break to play through the rest of god of war 2, ratchet and clank tools of destruction and uncharted drake's fortune, but knowing me I'll find some awesome contest to try and participate in, might as well give the cg talk challenge a shot, should be fun, right?
